The commercial centres in the Bondi Junction portfolio include Bondi Junction Commercial Centre. Charring Cross Village, Bondi Road Retail, Murray/McPherson Street Neighbour centres and Bronte Café strip.

The role of the Bondi Junction Management office is as follows:
  • Housekeeping of the portfolio’s commercial centres ensuring fixtures and fittings in the public domain are well maintained, well presented, clear of rubbish and regulated also ensuring a presentable look and feel.

  • Creating, developing and implementing Marketing Plans and Promotional campaigns which include: The Global Table, Forever Fabulous, Fashion Shows, Naidoc week activities, Kids Play Day and Christmas Activities.

  • Management of usage of the public domains e.g. filming, photography, promotions both charity and retailer.

  • Provide information to visitors including maintaining the website and providing adequate signage.

  • Work with various council divisions and stakeholders via forums and meetings so that the planning and implementing of community safety and crime prevention programs happen.

  • Work with integrated planning division on various projects including Youth, Safety and Public art initiatives.

  • Manage information flow between business operators and property owners and councils various Division to assist with the smooth implementation of upgrades to the streetscape.

  • Keep local businesses and residents informed on ‘What’s Happening’ in the commercial centres via business forum meetings, newsletters and other leaflets as required.

  • Conduct regular surveys of residents and businesses to measure the effectiveness of Council’s activities within the community.

  • Conduct regular audits to monitor the level of business activities and maintenance requirements.

  • Management and operation of licenses issued to the local markets in Oxford Street Mall, Bondi Junction.
